DescriptionThis course is intended for those whose activities are related to community management, visualization of spatial data, creation of spatial documentation, etc. The goal of the course is to familiarize participants with the specifics and capabilities of geographic information systems, as well as to provide the necessary basic skills for the successful creation of urban planning documentation using geographic information systems. The course consists of four modules and covers topics necessary for getting started in GIS: Module 1. Setting up the QGIS working environment; Module 2. Preparing data for work. Downloading and verifying data; Module 3. Analysis of the area being designed; Module 4. Drawing design solutions, exporting calculations to external formats, printing paper maps.
